Can I use an Expression Web Template in FrontPage 2003?
It is "possible" to edit an Expression Web template in FrontPage 2003,
but note that the pages will NOT display correctly in Design View. Some
elements, like a drop-down menu, will cover editable regions. Adding your
content using FrontPage 2003 will be more difficult. We highly recommend that you upgrade to Expression Web to take
advantage of all the features our templates offer.
Can I use a FrontPage template in Expression Web?
Yes. Expression Web will not, however, be able to update any "web-bot"
components like navigation, site maps, photo galleries, etc. You would
need to replace or delete these components.
How do I purchase a template?
Each template's detail page contains an "Add to Cart" button that takes
you to our shopping cart page. You can either checkout or return to continue
shopping. During the checkout process, you can choose to pay with your credit
card or through your PayPal account. On approval, you will be directed to
a page where you can download your template file(s).
Can I change the template's colors, graphics, text...etc.?
Each template is different. While font colors can be easily changed by
editing the CSS file, other colors are actually images. You should assume
that the colors cannot be changed. We recommend you read through the "see
in action" pages for specific details. If you cannot find the answer to your
question, please email us.
What about the images used in the templates?
Pre-Licensed Images: Our templates may contain images or photos
provided by third-party providers. We have
obtained the necessary licenses, rights, or permissions to use the images
within the template. You may use such images within the template, but do not
have the right to use the images separate from the template. You are bound
by the license agreement and copyright of the third-party image providers.
Watermarked Images: The template may contain watermarked images
or photos provided by third-party providers. We have obtained permission to incorporate these sample images within the
template. If you wish to use these images for your web site, you are required
to purchase the non-watermarked version directly from the vendor.
Can I add more pages, delete pages, and rename pages?
Absolutely! Templates are designed to be flexible. You add additional
pages, delete pages you do not need, and even rename pages to be better suited
to your site. We have tutorials on our Help Center covering these topics.
Can I delete your branding logo?
Yes! Once you have purchased the template, you may remove any links
back to our site, remove our logo from the home page, etc.
How do I know if a template is right for me?
Those who are in need of a website and feel their graphic design skills
may be a bit limited will benefit from a web template. A template gives you
the elements needed to build an effective, working website. Templates come
several common web pages that use pre-designed layouts, images, other components
that work together to give your website a consistent look and feel across
all pages. If you are still not sure, download one of our
free evaluation templates and take it out for a test
drive.
My form doesn't work. How do I get help?
In our templates that contain a form on the contact page, you will either
have to edit the existing form properties or set the initial properties so
you can receive the email results by email. Remember that the forms will only
work if your web host has the FrontPage server extensions enabled on your
server or you will have to choose a different form mail script and
implement it for your site. For a step-by-step tutorial, visit our Help Center at:
http://www.rtbwizards.com/helpcenter/formsresults.htm.
My new images aren't showing up. What's wrong?
There are several common reasons why an image may not show on your page.
Most often the cause is using the wrong file type or the image file path is
wrong. New images should be saved as either a .gif, .jpg, or .png. Images should
be located in the images folder of your web. File names and their extensions
should be lowercase with no spaces. It may also be a known IE7 "bug". For
more information, visit our help center at:
http://www.rtbwizards.com/helpcenter/imageissues.htm.
I lost my template. Can I get another copy?
We offer free replacement copies within 30 days of your purchase. We keep a database of all sales. If you have lost your original template
due to a hard drive crash or other misfortune, and if we can verify your purchase,
we will email you a replacement copy for a small $5.00 fee. If the template has been deleted from
our catalog or was purchased over 12 months ago, we cannot give you a free
replacement. For more information, please visit our
Policies page.
Do you make templates for other programs?
Yes, we also design many of the same great templates for the Macromedia Dreamweaver
program. You will find these templates at our sister site
My Arts Desire.
My credit card was declined. Now what?
The most common reason a credit card is declined is that the name on the
card, the billing address, the zip code, and the 3-didgit code do not all
match during the verification process. We have no control over how or why
a card is approved or declined. Often when a card is declined, the reserve
amount is still deducted from your available balance for 24-48 hours before
being replaced. If your card was not approved, we recommend you contact your
credit card company or bank immediately and report the problem.
Where can I get more help?
• Check the FrontPage or Expression Web program help files. You can find
most "how to" questions answered there.
• Contact us regarding any questions you may
have about your web template.
Search Our Catalog:
How can I find the right template?
Finding the perfect template isn't always easy. Each item in our catalog
has a certain look and feel. Sometimes it is best to start with pencil and paper.
Make a broad list and then narrow it down.
To help you in locating the best match for your site, we offer the following
tips:
Page layout: This refers
to how and where the various items on the page are located. Start your search
to those templates whose navigation, logo/name area, sidebar, and content
are pleasing to you. Remember that some navigation areas may be limited in
the number of links they can hold. Make a list of templates that meet this
first criteria.
Color Scheme: Colors are
individual and impact the first impression your visitors receive. Narrowing
your search further, eliminate templates that don't fit with your color ideas.
Imagery: We categorize templates
primarily by the imagery used. However, that template tucked away under the
Education category could be the perfect match if the images were changed to
something specific to your industry.
